First of all we would like to thank you and your Guilde for the loan of
the bluesteel and octiron bracers. As you requested, we have studied
why the application of the enhancing spell desequilibrates the physical
essence of the octiron bracer, we think our results may interest you.
We have found that the addition of certain elements to the bracelet once
the spells are set does not just eliminate the problem but enhance the
final product. Some of the elements are readily available in a pure
form, while others will need to be isolated. At this point we are trying
to identify the exact nature of every component, so that the isolation
can be avoided. You shall need a secari, a book inscribed with the spell
of blessing by a cleric of equilibrium, several beads of blue ice, one of
the heads of the dog Cerberus and, of course, the octiron bracelet itself.

Super Dense Fuel Hot Fuels.
Hot fires need special ingredients that 'explode' at a slow but steady rate.
The following mixture requires patience and hands as steady as rocks. Take
a quantity of purpel coral and pound it till the powder is as fine as talc.
Next chop up the lantern and take the glowing core, and carve into slices
and place in a large cooking urn. The juices from the lantern must then be
poured into another urn, straining any large meaty chunks. Add the powdered
coral, congealed slime and break the phial inside the urn and let the
contents breath for an hour. Once the hour is up the cooled mixture must be
stirred, with slow steady strokes. The stirring produces a little frictoion
and once the ingredients have correctly mixed will turn into a thick pourable
mixture, which when chilled make perfect slow burning bricks......

I have the good fortune of commissioning you for another masterpiece.
It's based on a design we stole from the ambassador from Ch'ung-Kuo, a
pair of serpents entwined about each other forming a hoop. We think we
have managed to attain most of the components: a ring of glowing
adamantite wrested from Myistra; a tiny ring carved from basalt taken
from the sahaguin wizard, a lordly ring of opals owned by the dwarf queen;
a ruby ring set in polished gold ripped from the talons of a falcon; A
small steel circlet, engulfed in flames cleaved from the hand of the fire
machine; a circle of vivid green metal stolen from the crocodile god; a
nose ring from a sahaguin slave; a glowing blue pearl from the giant clam,
the sting of a manta ray, a vial of pure squid ink all from the populace.
Also required are a large set of bellows and some super dense fuel, which
we weren't able to attain at the present time.
